The Matsuno sextuplets are everywhere these day, and they have even invaded the 2.5D stage play scene, as Mr. Osomatsu is also getting adapted into a live-action stage play titled “Osomatsu-san on STAGE ~SIX MEN’S SHOW TIME~.”
The play will run from September to October, and will be shown across two cities, Osaka and Tokyo. The live-action stage play adaptation’s cast will have the following actors play as the Matsuno sextuplets:
- Shouta Takasaki as Osomatsu
- Yuusuke Kashiwagi as Karamatsu
- Keisuke Ueda as Choromatsu
- Ryo Kitamura as Ichimatsu
- Ren Ozawa as Juushimatsu
- Ryotaro Akazawa as Todomatsu
The Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka will first show the play from 29 September – 3 October with seven scheduled performances, before heading to Tokyo’s Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi from 13 – 23 October, with 14 scheduled shows. Premium Tickets, which come with several bonuses, cost 9,800 yen, while general seating costs 6,800 yen.
A new twitter page and official website for the play have also been launched, with a new visual and images of actor Ren Ozawa in costume as Juushimatsu also being revealed.
