However, it seems that she has overexerted herself and injured her knee, as announced by the official website for her seiyuu unit, Earphones.
She is set to both sing and dance for a performance this 18 June for an Earphones 1st anniversary live event, but her knee is injured due to having her ligaments around the knee inflamed. The doctor has advised her to rest that knee, but the website has promised the fans that while her movements will be limited. She will still be able to sing because a seiyuu’s voice is his/her best aspect, right?
Takahashi herself also commented on the official website, and talked about her knee’s inflamed ligaments. She also apologised to fans and assured them that she will still be performing and doing voice acting work, albeit in a limited capacity for the former.
