The Weekly Shonen Jump! gag manga, Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan, is getting itself an anime adaptation, which will be premiering on 4th July 2016. And the good news is that the person who will perform the theme song for the anime is none other than Natsuki Hanae, who is also part of the anime’s voice cast.
While this is considered his AniSong debut, this isn’t his first one, previously singing the OP song for Makura no Danshi, titled “Makura no Danshi.” However, this will be the first time Hanae will be singing under his own name. Under Nippon Columbia, they are really taking this new “musical phase” in his career, as they have even launched an official twitter account, and even his own artist page.
In Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan, Natsuki Hanae, who is best known for voicing Inaho Kaizuka in Aldnoah.Zero and Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, won’t be voicing the main character, but a character named Reita Toritsuka.
The main character, Kusuo Saiki, will be voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya
Other characters include:
Riki Nendou (CV Daisuke Ono)
Shun Kaidou (CV Nobunaga Shimazaki)
Kokomi Teruhashi (CV Ai Kayano)
Chiyo Yumehara (CV Yukari Tamura)
Kenishi Hairo (CV Satoshi Hino)
The anime will follow Shuuichi Aso’s gag manga of the same name, which follows Saiki Kusou, a boy whose psychic powers cause a bit of trouble for his classmates and friends.
