Studio Ghibli has done a lot for Japan’s animation and tourism industry, and during the recent Studio Ghibli exhibition at Roppingi Hills called “Ghibli Exhibition ~ From Nausicaa to their newest work, The Red Turtle”, they will be selling official postage stamps which you can really use to send mail from Japan, and they are inspired from posters from all 22 Ghibli films.

The stamps are from posters of the studio’s movies, which range from Nausicaa to their latest work, The Red Turtle, and also includes some not-so-known works. Each stamp is worth 82 yen individually, but the entire set of 22 costs 2,900 yen.

These stamps will go on sale starting 7th July, but are also being offered during the Ghibli Exhibition in Roppongi Hills, which will be held from 7 July until 11 September 2016, and will also be featuring other Ghibli classics, like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and many more. It will take a look at the legendary studio’s history, as well as feature some materials and more. The stamps will also be available online via the Japan Post online shop.
