Headed to the Tokyo Big Sight but you don’t want to experience the morning train rush? Well, there’s a certain taxi cab in Tokyo that might just get you to Comiket in time, and you can get into the otaku theme as well!

This new taxi service, called the “ita-taxi,” was launched by taxi operator, Gojo Kotsu, just in time for Comiket 90, one of the biggest doujinshi and anime events in the world. The taxi is adorned with decals featuring Ponoma-chan, Nico Nico Douga’s mascot character.

The “Ita-Taxi” was actually unveiled during the Nico Nico Choukaigi, and was actually launched into service last 12th August, the very same day Comiket 90’s first day was held. It is currently stationed near Comiket 90’s venue, the Tokyo Big Sight, but after the event, the taxi will then be roaming around Tokyo, looking for passengers.

Now that’s how you ride in style! It would be nice to see this one roaming in Akihabara, right?
