The Mekakushi Dan are back with a brand new anime, as “Seek at Mekakucity,” the Niconico streaming program for JIN’s vocaloid song and light novel franchise, Kagerou Daze, has announced that the franchise is getting a brand new anime adaptation.

During the announcement, they said that the franchise will be getting “more anime,” and revealed that the new project is tentatively titled Mekakucity Reload. It has not been confirmed if this new anime will be a TV anime or not, or whether it will be a direct sequel to the original anime, which was first aired in Japan back in 2014.

Not much details on Mekakucity Reload have been announced, though the program did specify that it will be different from this winter’s upcoming MX4D anime short film for the series.

Mekakucity Actyors is based on Kagerou Daze, which is based on Vocaloid song producer, JIN’s series of vocaloid songs, which he later turned into a light novel series, which he wrote himself. A manga adaptation has also been launched, and of course, there is the Mekakucity Actors TV anime.
