Rem’s confession to her “savior,” Subaru, is quite adorable and is one of the most memorable moments from Re:Zero. However, it is also one of the most heartbreaking if you look at it in hindsight. That very confession has also inspired an adorable hour-long musical edit, which would certainly tug at your heartstrings.
Dammit Subaru! The video, which is titled “Suki de” or “I love you”, has already gone viral back in Japan, garnering over 500,000 views in Nico Nico Douga alone.
A similar video was made when the demon twins were first introduced.
And speaking of Rem’s confession, the seiyuu for the girl who Subaru chose over Rem had some fun while promoting the anime’s new web radio series. Rie Takahashi, who voices Emilia, copied her half-elf character’s pose from the first Blu-ray release.
