Wataru Watanabe’s bestselling sports manga, Yowamushi Pedal, is getting itself a live-action TV series, where the cast from the YowaPeda stage play reprised their roles. The TV show’s official twitter account, @sptv_yowapeda, recently tweeted several on-set photos, and they revealed the actors both at work and at play, and they really looked like they’re having a lot of fun.
The TV series will premiere this 26th August via BS SKY PerfecTV!, and will air in Japan every Friday at 9:00 p.m. JST. Much of the cast from the live-action stage play will be reprising their respective roles for the TV series. The cast is comprised of:

The series is directed by Takayoshi Tanazawa, and its theme song will be titled “Skill Flower”, by J-rock band, Magic of Life. Kouta Fukihara will be writing the script for the show.
