A new anime is peeking into the daily lives of seiyuu, and it is called Girlish Number. Part of a cross-media franchise that involves a light novel written by My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU author, Wataru Watari, as well as a manga, the anime series finally gets a PV, and it shows that being a seiyuu ain’t exactly a walk in the park.

As the PV has shown, the seiyuu industry is full of trials, friendships, and rivalries. The new TV anime is slated to premiere on 6th October 2016 via TBS at 26:28, or 7th October 2016 at 2:28 in the morning. Diomedéa will be responsible for producing the animation for the series, with Shota Ibata at the helm as the anime’s director.

Will we see Hachiman-level perspectives into the seiyuu industry for this one? Looks like we’re about to find out as the anime premieres next season.
