Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata, dropped some bad news for Final Fantasy fans, as he revealed that FFXV will be delayed. The game release date has been moved from 30th September to 29th November, which means that fans will have to wait a bit longer to get their hands on the latest installment to the Final Fantasy franchise.

Director Tabata sincerely apologized for the delay and thanked the fans for their understanding. However, the delay also means that the game won’t be rushed, and in the end, would be resulting into a much better game. We all know that rushing to meet the deadline might cause some problems and glitches as some games have been quite infamous for. The expectations of Final Fantasy XV are quite high, so extending the release date to further polish the game would be ideal.

But worry not, because even if the game is delayed, the upcoming FFXV movie, Kingsglaive, is not. The upcoming 3DCG movie is still slated to premiere in movie screens around the world later this month, and IGN is keeping fans excited by posting the film’s first 12 minutes!

Looks very impressive so far, huh? The film boasts a pretty impressive English voice cast, headlined by Hollywood stars like Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, and Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey and Sean Bean.
