Weekly Shonen Champion magazine’s 42nd issue has revealed that the new Yowamushi Pedal TV anime will be titled “Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation”. They also announced that the anime will be making its premiere on January 2017, and also revealed a new teaser visual for the new season:
The new visual’s tagline reads as “the never-before-seen road, together,” and then the magazine also adds Team Sōhoku’s new generation starts at last!” It features the 1st year and 2nd year members, as the 3rd years are now retiring from competition, and are getting ready for graduation.
The anime is based on Wataru Watanabe’s bestselling sports manga, which follows the nerdy Onoda Sakamichi (who actually has a hidden talent when it comes to cycling) and his teammates from Sohoku high.
