We’ve got you covered for this season’s anime and they are coming at you at full blast with a dash of action, a splash of sports, and some spices of daily life. Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari

Summary: The story opens in a small town of Kagawa Prefecture, Souta Tawara(CV:Yuuichi Nakamura) was visiting his family’s udon place when he chance upon meeting a young boy named Poko(CV:Shiho Kokido). Souta took upon himself to take care of Poko, even quitting his job in Tokyo. Now that Souta is back in his hometown, things had never be the same again! And so the journey begins.. What awaits Souta and Poko?
Why would I watch this: Sure, this series will remind us of Barakamon, where the main lead goes back to his roots and find whatever is left from his reticent life turned upside down by one precocious kid. Sure, this series will also remind us of Amaama to Inazuma where the main lead takes care of a young child, in this case, Poko.To add, Souta, the lead in this series, happens to share the same voice actor as the father, Kouhei Inuzuka, in Amaama to Inazuma, Yuuichi Nakamura!

Summary:
Not everything is going well in the life of Rei Kiriyama(CV:Kengo Kawanishi), a 17 year old high school student and a professional shogi player. He is quite the loner in school and rarely gets to talk with his classmates. He’s not doing well as a shogi player either as his losses keeps him at bay in the rankings. Nothing in his life has been right until the day he befriended a young woman named Akari Kawamoto(CV:Ai Kayano). She lives in the neighborhood together with her sisters, Hinata (CV: Kana Hanazawa) and Momo(CV:Misaki Kuno). Rei’s life has never been the same after. This is the story of how Rei survived the game of life.
Why would I watch this: This series invests heavily not so much on the game of shogi but on the lives of Rei and the Kawamoto sisters. How will this chance encounter with the siblings change his perspective in life?Will he get around from the slump that he is facing? Will this series be an eye opener for the audiences on how we can face life especially when we’re down.

Tiger Mask W

Summary:
In its heyday, one wrestling organization have triumphed over others in training wrestlers to become number 1 in Japan, but everything was for naught when that organization came crumbling down in an instant after the Tiger’s Lair destroyed the organization. From its ashes, rise two young wrestlers. One lad took up the mantle and began restructuring the organization to face Tiger’s Lair anew, while the other lad took it upon himself to infiltrate Tiger’s Lair and destroy it with his own hands. Both lads wants to exact revenge on Tiger’s Lair.
Why would I watch this:This series is a classic example of good will triumph evil course. It upholds the virtue that justice must prevail regardless of how it is achieve. In this revival, the series takes on a new persona for Tiger Mask and introduces Tiger Dark. Both ‘heroes’ wants to destroy the ‘enemy’, but up to what extent will they go to bring down the evil organization, Tiger’s Lair?
