After a historic career and voicing plenty of unforgettable characters, legendary seiyuu, Kaneta Kimotsuki, best known for his roles in Doraemon, has now passed away at the age of 80.

Kimotsuki voiced two of Doraemon’s most iconic characters, starting with  Takeshi Gouda in the original 1973 anime, and then voicing Suneo Honekawa in the 1979 anime. His other voice acting roles include Great Briten/007 from Cyborg 009, The Conductor from Galaxy Express 999, Nega from Creamy Mami, and most recently, Yoshiteru from Yuki Yuna is a Hero. He will be missed.

Rest in peace, and thank you for breathing life in all those memorable characters!.
