Niantic Labs, which developed the highly-popular mobile phone game Pokemon GO, has revealed that they are doing a new update on their Pokemon gyms, and it will be a good thing for trainers with Pokemon with low CP.
The new gym update has a few special features, including the fact that trainers can bring a total of six Pokemon to gyms when training in a friendly one. This also allows low CP Pokemon to train with ones with higher CP. When going against low-CP Pokemon that are being trained, high-CP Pokemon will have their CP temporarily lowered to “generally match the battle capabilities”.
Niantic Labs still has not announced when this new gym update will be implemented, but be sure that trainers will find it easier to train their Pokemon.
