Prince of Tennis mangaka, Takeshi Konomi, made an important announcement during the TeniPuri Festa 2016 ~Kassen~ last 16th October, where he revealed that they will be making a brand new Prince of Tennis anime film with an original story.
The original story will be set three months after the end of the original Prince of Tennis manga, and actually takes place between the original and The New Prince of Tennis manga.
Though Konomi didn’t announce much, he did promise that the film will be great and asked the audience to look forward to it.
This will be the latest addition to the Prince of Tennis franchise, which includes several TV anime, OVAs, a live-action film, and even a live-action TV drama in China. More details will be revealed in the days ahead.
