Voice acting agency, 81 Produce, announced in their official website that seiyuu Megumi Toyoguchi is now married and is pregnant. In an official statement, Toyoguchi had mentioned that she has been married for a few years already. And now, because of her pregnancy, she is now going on hiatus.
The hiatus comes just in time as her most recent anime, Danganronpa 3, came to an end. She appeared in both the Future and Despair arcs as the main antagonist, Junko Enoshima, as well as her twin sister, Mukuro Ikusaba.
The veteran seiyuu is best known for her role as Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist, as well as Macross Frontier’s Klan Klan. We wish her the best in her pregnancy and hopes she gets through this safely and will have a healthy child.
