Bandai namco Entertainment has a very special announcement video for Sword Art Online fans outside of Japan, because finally, the SAO game app, Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag, will be getting released outside of Japan. The announcement was made through this video:
The game will be featuring the anime’s story, plus an original story just for the app. This side-scrolling RPG was first released in Japan last 31 August 2016, and is actually free-to-play, with a few options which allow players to pay for items of course. The game also features multiplayer co-op with other players of the game.
Though this English version is still “Coming Soon,” Bandai Namco is actually doing a pre-registration campaign, where those who pre-register receive in-game gifts. What these gifts are actually depend on how many will join the pre-registration.
