In celebration of the 20th anniversary of CLAMP’s timeless magical girl manga, Cardcaptor Sakura, the very manga magazine which serialized the series announced that it is getting a brand new anime project.
Not much details or information have been revealed regarding this new anime in the announcement, which means that they will be announcing more in the days ahead.
Aside from this new anime project, CLAMP has also released a new limited manga series as part of the Cardcaptor Sakura 20th anniversary celebrations. The new manga follows an older Sakura, who is now a 1st-year middle school student, and has now graduated from Tomoeda Elementary School. However, her new middle school life is interrupted when she gets a mysterious dream, and then an incident takes place.
