The King of Monsters, Godzilla, returned earlier this year for his latest film, Shin Godzilla, and while the mighty King has been dethroned in the Japanese box office by Makoto Shinkai’s your name., the kaijuu still lives strongly in the hearts of many Japanese. This is evident in a certain farm in Japan, where a 7-meter statue of Godzilla was spotted.

It actually took four months to build this 7-meter monstrosity, and it can be found in a field in Chikuzen, Fukuoka. Its eyes, fins, and chest, are all adorned by LEDs, which light up signaling that Godzilla is about to do his signature Atomic Breath… or not in this straw version.

Its tail measures in at 10 meters, and it is actually longer than straw Godzilla’s height. It took a lot of volunteers to complete this straw monster as well.

Now that is truly a fitting tribute to the King of Monsters!
