Comic Market (or Comiket) and the Japan Red Cross Society have a traditional partnership where the Red Cross collects blood from Comiket goers. They set up up outside the Tokyo Big Sight every Comiket, and every time someone donates, they get some goodies.

Donors who give 400mL of their own blood are given five new posters and two wall scrolls. These posters and wall scrolls are from popular anime and manga, and they include:

Yowamushi Pedal

ViViD Strike

Grimm’s Notes

Trinity Tempo

Akihabara Made 13 Jikan

Is the Order a Rabbit? (wall scroll)

Tawawa on Monday (Wall Scroll)

Japan Red Cross Society will also be offering up these posters and wall scrolls to those who can’t attend Comiket. They can just head over to their nearest Japan Red Cross Society facility and donate blood there. In fact, Red Cross facilities outside of Japan will be running the collaboration until 31st January. Comiket is held at the Tokyo Big Sight from 29 – 31 December, which means that Red Cross will also be there.
