Lupin the Third’s resident swordsman, Goemon Ishikawa, takes center stage as the star of the franchise’s latest film, Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon, or Lupin the Third: Goemon Ishikawa’s Spray of Blood. Now, the film’s own teaser trailer has just been revealed:
The video also reveals that the film is slated to premiere on 4 February 2017. Also revealed is the film’s poster visual, which features Goemon, Jigen, Fujiko Mine, and Lupin III.
TMS Entertainment will be producing the animation for the film, with Afro Samurai pilot director, Takeshi Koike directing it. The original cast from Jigen’s Gravestone and The Woman Called Fujiko Mine are also set to return.
