One of Winter 2017’s most anticipated anime is definitely the latest Gintama anime. And now, we are getting a taste of what to expect for this new season with a brand new PV:

The PV also teases the anime’s OP song, which is titled “Kagerou”. ЯeaL is performing the OP song, while RIZE (Shion no Oh) performs the ED song, “Silver”. This will be the fifth Gintama anime series, with Chizuru Miyawaki returning from the fourth season as the director.

Based on Hideaki Sorachi’s bestselling gag manga, this latest Gintama anime will be premiering on 9 January 2017. Now, who here is ready for all that 4th wall-breaking craziness that Gintama is best known for?
