With the year almost coming to a close, Sony decided to show off what everyone in the PlayStation Nation should look forward to in 2017. Featuring a slew of both new IPs and old, this year’s Sony PlayStation Experience was filled with nothing but games, games and more games.

Here is what was revealed during Sony’s PlayStation Experience 2016 keynote:

 

The Keynote started off with announcement trailer for a new Naughty Dog game in the Uncharted franchise. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is the first standalone adventure in the Uncharted franchise and will be led by fan-favorite, Chloe Frazer.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, slated for 2017, coming to PS4, PC and Xbox One.

For those who cannot wait, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is available for download from today onward on the PS4.

Wipeout Omega Collection, a remastered version of three games (HD, Fury and 2048) as one, slated for summer 2017

Destiny: Rise of Iron, will be having a holiday event for the game called “The Dawning”, the event will run from December 13th to January 3rd

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, a “remaster plus” of the three games that started it all (Crash Bandocoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot; Warped), gameplay trailer released. The game is slated for 2017.

Resident Evil 7 biohazard new trailer revealed. The final demo update of the game is also available for download today on the PS4, PS4 Pro and PSVR.

Ace Combat 7 new trailer released, no release date as of now. Coming to PS4 and PSVR

Akuma and 5 other completely new characters announced for Street Fighter V as part of the season 2 roster. Slated for release on December 20th

Last Guardian Story Trailer released. The game releases on December 6th, only 2 more days away!

PaRappa The Rapper remastered trailer released. The demo for the game is available from today onward. Patapon and Loco Roco remastered are also announced, and all three games will also be remastered in 4K resolution.

Knack 2 announcement trailer revealed. No release date is announced yet.

Gravity Rush 2 Another Story: The Ark of Time – Raven’s Choice DLC will now feature Raven as a playable character in the game. It will also feature a completely new story for Raven, set at the end of the first Gravity Rush. The DLC will be released for free coming March 2017.

New trailer for Gran Turismo Sport released. The game is slated for release in 2017.

A new trailer for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom revealed. The game is slated for release in 2017

Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life western release confirmed. Yakuza Kiwami is slated for release in summer 2017, while Yakuza 6 will be in early 2018.

Also confirmed for a western release is Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. The western release will be for both the PS4 and PS Vita in 2017.

A new trailer for NieR:Automata was also released, with a confirmation of a western release date. The western version will be released on March 7, 2017, 12 days after the Japanese release.

A game originally released in Japan back in 2006, Ys Origin will be coming to the PS4 and PS Vita in February 21 2017.

Dreadnought, an arena-styled space combat flight simulator, will be coming exclusively to the PS4. The game is slated to release in 2017, and you can sign up for the beta here.

From the developers behind great PS4 indie games like Transistor and Bastion, comes a new game called Pyre, which allows you to experience both the rich single-player campaign, or challenge a friend in the new head-to-head Versus Mode.

Another new third party game, Vane, released a reveal trailer. There is not much to go by, so both story and gameplay are still unknown.

Absolver, an online multiplayer combat RPG by Devolver Digital, released a new trailer. The game is slated for a 2017 release, and will be coming first to Ps4 with exclusive content.

A new story trailer for the Adventure game What remains of Edith Finch, was released. It it slated for Spring 2017

From the collaboration between the studio behind Resogun and the creator of Smash TV, comes a new game called Nex Machina: Death Machine, an arcade-style action adventure game. The game is slated for release in Q2 2017.

Another game out right now is LET IT DIE, a hyper-violent hack-and-slash action game. You can download and play it for free on the PS Store right now.

Other games that are available today are Mother Russia Bleeds, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Surgeon Simulator ER and Lara Croft GO  .

Another Classic game announced for the PS4 and PS Vita is Windjammers. There is no release date as of yet

With Sony’s hard push for the PSVR, an exclusive game for the new peripheral was announced. StarBlood Arena will most probably be an arena-style space combat FPS. The game is slated to release Spring 2017.

Nioh, a new game by Koei Tecmo, showcased a new trailer. The game is slated to be released in North America on February 7, 2017 and in Japan on February 9, 2017.

The latest edition to Sony’s exclusive baseball franchise, The Show, features a retro mode, where players can enjoy the nostalgic charm of baseball video games from the good old days.

Sony’s latest flagship game also released a new trailer. Horizon Zero Dawn is slated for release on February 28, 2017.

However, the greatest announcement of the keynote was saved for last. A sequel to one of the best games of 2013, The Last of Us Part II gets a reveal trailer. The game is still in early development, so no release date has been announced for it.

With such a wide range of games available to members of the Playstation Nation, it’s a wonderful time to own Sony’s home console.
