The official Tokyo Ghoul website has finally revealed a new character visual. This time, they have revealed actress Fumika Shimizu in costume as the Rabbit Ghoul herself, Touka Kirishima.
Fumika Shimizu has had quite the reputation for her long and wavy hair. She shocked many of her fans when she decided to cut it short just for the role. However, Shimizu herself revealed that she didn’t hesitate in cutting it. She also added that her new hair is quite comfortable, as it’s easier to take a bath in. She even said that it’s easier for her to move around in the film’s action scenes.

For the film, Yuu Aoi is playing Rize Kamishiro, while actor Nobuyuki Suzuki is playing Koutaro Amon. Also revealed is live-action actor and seiyuu Yo Oizumi, who is playing Kureo Mado. Kentarou Hagiwara is directing the film, which premieres sometime in summer 2017.
