Through the years, veteran seiyuu Masako Nozawa has voiced many characters, but none is more iconic than Son Goku. And now, thanks to voicing the mighty Saiyan, she has now entered the Guinness Book of World Records.

Nozawa has not only voiced Goku in the anime, but in the video games as well. Because of this, Guinness has awarded her the world record for “Longest time voicing a single character in video games”. The legendary seiyuu has been voicing the character for 23 years, starting with 1993’s Super Famicom game, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden. She also voiced Goku in various other games, Such as J-Stars Victory VS and many more.

The nowGuinness World Record-setting seiyuu got her award from Guinness during a special awarding ceremony held last 31st January. Congratulations Masako Nozawa!
