Many consider CLAMP and Production IG’s Blood-C anime to be one of the bloodiest and goriest anime out there. Now, it’s getting a new live-action film titled Asura Girl: Blood-C Another Story. The film’s staff has finally revealed a new teaser trailer for the film, and it gives us our first look at the new movie.

The film will contain an original story, which is set before World War II, when the militarists have taken over Japan. In the story, there is a huge conflict between Japan’s Special Higher Police and several villagers.

Shutaro Oku, who directed the Blood-C stage play, is directing the film. Meanwhile, Junichi Fujisaku, who wrote the scripts for the anime adaptation, is also writing the film’s script. As revealed in the new trailer, the film will premiere in Japan on 26 August 2017.
