What if GODZILLA actually took over the world? What would the human existence be doing right now.

The terrifying beast has finally made its way into the 2D world, instilling fear into the human population and driving it to its extinction. The animation movie “GODZILLA” will be making its way into the cinemas of Japan this coming November.

What should we actually expect from the movie? A lot of action, sci-fi technology and amazing acting from the casts. We went down to watch the stage at AnimeJapan 2017 to understand more.

The story falls far into the future where the humans have been fighting against GODZILLA, only to taste defeat and retreat out of Earth. They travelled into an unknown planet, only to find it to be uninhabitable. The humans had no choice but to select the best to take back their home once again. When the humans finally made it back to Earth, they found that it was not the same again. Earth has already change its ecology into the form where GODZILLA reigns high.

Something you might not expect in the story is that, the human existence joined with another alien species in order to defeat GODZILLA. An intergalaxy battle against GODZILLA, something to look forward this coming November right?

Embracing the stage are the 6 voice actors/actress who will be voicing the various characters in the movie. Mamoru Miyano (Haruo), Takahiro Sakurai (Metophes), Kana Hanazawa (Yuuko), Tomokazu Sugita (Martin), Yuki Kaji (Adam) and Junichi Suwabe (Murel).

 

The guests introduced the show and their respective characters. Having attended the voicing sessions and read the scripts, they commented that this show is as amazing as it seems. The weapons that appearing in the show are difficult to imagine from just reading the scripts, and everyone definitely has to watch the movie in order to learn more about the story.

Each of the guests commented that they were honoured to be part of this project, being the first animation of GODZILLA, they will do their best for everyone to enjoy.
