During AnimeJapan 2017, the cast and staff of the upcoming No Game, No Life Zero film held a stage presentation. During the stage program, they revealed several new details about the film, as well as a brand new PV:
The video reveals that the film won’t really be focusing on Shiro and Sora, but on the events 6 millennia before they arrived. In fact, the film follows a “story from myths erased from people’s memories”. The stage presentation also revealed a brand new key visual image:
Aside from the new PV and visual, the event also revealed that much of the staff are returning for the film. However, most of them will be playing different roles.
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Riku
- Ai Kayano as Shuvi
- Youko Hikasa as Corone Dora
- Yukari Tamura as Jibril
- Yuka Iguchi as Nonna Zell
- Mamiko Noto as Shinku Nilvalen
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Izuna Hatsuse
- Rie Kugimiya as Tet
Madhouse will animate the film, much like what they did for the TV anime. Atsuko Ishizuka will also be returning to helm the project as the director. No Game, No Life Zero will make its Japanese premiere on 15th July, while advance tickets will go on sale on 15th April.
