Certain staff members of Animate’s Sendai store have recently gained a following on Twitter after fans realized that the pair were behind some of the store’s exquisite hand drawn displays and illustrations. The fan works that caught the eye of a huge number of fans however were from last season’s favourite Yuri!!! on Ice.
Their collaborations started out as a way to attract customers to Anime Sendai’s COPIC marker corner. One of them does the line work and the other the colouring. However, their talents also extend to digital, as they co-created a massive Yuri!!! on Ice poster to promote the store’s WACOM sale.
