Gosho Aoyama’s hit detective manga has now sold over 200 million copies worldwide, and they’re celebrating it with a bang! One of them is a full spread ad on the 26th April edition of the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper. The ad announces that the manga has sold over 200 million copies around the world, as well as several announcements.

The celebrations also include something that will get the fans completely involved! Gosho Aoyama is creating a new mystery story, and he needs the help of fans to decide what one witness looks like. Fans can go to the official Detective Conan face maker website, and then create their character. Fans can choose from a variety of options, such as the eyes, nose, and mouth. They can also choose the eyewear, and even the character’s name, age, and gender. Once finished, fans can then submit their creation for consideration.

And not only that, Conan is also got his 21st film, Detective Conan the Movie: The Crimson Love Letter. The film premiered in Japan last 15th April, and is several cinemas are still showing it.
