The fourth and Final Rebuild of Evangelion now officially in production, and it seems that Studio Khara is currently looking for animators. If you want a job in the anime industry, this may be your chance! Hideako Anno’s studio has now also opened a recruitment page for those interested in the job.

However, Khara didn’t announce how many they’ll need, but did reveal what the wages will be. According to the website, chosen animators will get a monthly wage of 40,000 yen. However, many have pointed out that this wage is a bit too low.

They are also looking for people to work on their 3DCG animation scenes. However, their pay is much higher than the usual 2D animators, as Khara is paying them 180,000 yen per month. They’re also looking for people in production, and chosen applicants also get 180,000 per month.

Those who are interested to apply must send their applications via the recruitment page. They must be able to start working in Suginami, Tokyo by June 2017. Studio Khara also encourages their applicants to submit their own artworks as well.

Anno, who recently directed Shin Godzilla, founded Studio Khara in 2006, after leaving Gainax. The studio then produced the first three Rebuild of Evangelion films in succession. Evangelion 1.0 premiered in 2007, Evangelion 2.0 in 2009, and finally, Evangelion 3.0 in 2012. They then revealed the next film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, back in 2012, but they didn’t reveal any news regarding it. Anno did admit he was planning to return in 2014, but that didn’t come to fruition.
