The staff of Kantai Collection teased fans on Twitter today — 13th April 2017, with a possible collaboration with a Japanese low-cost carrier. This news comes as a welcome surprise to fans, as the game and the animated TV series are centered around young ladies who are anthropomorphic personification of famous battle cruisers and other seagoing vessels.

The project will not just include collaboration merchandise, but also extend to the design of the cabin crew’s uniforms. Some fans also speculate that, as with other airline collaborations by major franchises such as Pokemon and Hello Kitty, the plane’s livery (paintjob) and on-board meals will also be designed especially for the collaboration event.
