With its 29th July premiere fast approaching, the live-action Tokyo Ghoul’s staff have now released several new images. These new images include the film’s latest poster visual, which features the two sides of Ken Kaneki. The upright side features Kaneki and his human side, while the upside down side represents his Ghoul side. The film stars Masataka Kubota as the “Eye Patch Ghoul” himself, Ken Kaneki.

The staff also revealed several new still images, each focusing on one character, including Kaneki. They also include Tohka Kirishima (Fumika Shimizu), Rize Kamishiro (Yuu Aoi), Koutarou Amon (Nobuyuki Suzuki), and finally, Kureo Mado (You Oizumi).

Meanwhile, fans can also use their smartphones to find some of the film’s locations. By accessing the Tokyo Ghoul Map website and then using their phone’s Google Map API, they might just find some of the film’s locations.

Kentarou Hagiwara is directing the film, which has now finished principal screening. The film is based on Sui Ishida’s bestselling horror manga of the same name. It follows Ken Kaneki, a boy who meets a beautiful girl, who turns out to be a man-eating ghoul. However, they meet an accident as she tries to eat him, and now, he suddenly becomes a half-human, half-ghoul hybrid. Now, Ken Kaneki faces two worlds which are at war with each other.
