Anime production companies Eiken, Wako, and Nippon Animation are teaming up for a massive crossover series titled Miracle Robot Force. This crossover will feature UFO Senshi Daiapolon, Chogattai Majutsu Robot Ginguiser, Gasshin Sentai Mechander Robo, and Blocker Corps IV: Machine Blaster, which are all celebrating their 40th anniversaries.

These four anime all aired between 1976 and 1977, and this new series has now premiered last 3rd April. The collaboration revealed that there will be multiple projects in the span of one year. They started off with the new collaboration visual seen above.

Eiken produced UFO Senshi Daiapolon, which was unique because of its American Football theme.

Meanwhile, Nippon Animation produced Chogattai Majutsu Robot Ginguiser. The anime is notable because popular seiyuu, Kazuhiko Inoue, made his debut with the series.

Nippon Animation also produced Blocker Corps IV: Machine Blaster. Going under the name, Younosuke Shichishi, legendary Gundam mecha designer, Kunio Okawara, did the mecha designs for the series. This was also Nippon Animation’s first mecha series.

Finally, Wako animated Gasshin Sentai Mechander Robo. The anime is noted because it was directed by famed anime director, Masami Anno. Anno also directed Ninja Robots and did storyboards for Nickelodeon’s The Legend of Korra.

The staff will be announcing more details about this crossover soon.
