More characters for the upcoming ufotable anime Katsugeki Touken Ranbu, including Konnosuke and the Saniwa were recently announced!
They will be played by Takuma Nagatsuka (Owari no Seraph) and Junko Minagawa (Prince of Tennis) respectively.
Other characters announced are Izuminokami Kanesada, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Horikawa Kunihiro, Yagen Toushirou, Tonbokiri, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga.
Katsugeki Touken Ranbu tells the story of post-Shogunate Era Japan in 1863, where fate of the country and the world is threatened as an army of historical revisionists are sent from the future to alter the course of history.
At the command of their Saniwa, Izuminokami Kanesada Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki fight to protect the real history.
The opening theme for Katsugeki Touken Ranbu will be sung by Soma Saito and the end theme will be sung by Kalafina. Both artistes are under the SACRA MUSIC label.
