Madhouse’s upcoming flick “Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai” has officially acquired a 25th August release date. The highly anticipated project stars Suzuko Mimori and Now on Air — a new voice actress unit formed from winners of the “Kimikoe Project” audition in August of 2016. Joining the cast are veteran voice actors Yuuki Kaji, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, and Masako Nozawa.
The theme of “Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai” is the power of one’s voice in a digital age ruled by instant messaging and social media. Nagisa, a young girl who feels uncertain about the future and her place in the world, stumbles upon a disused FM radio station. She uses it to start broadcasting her personal musings, unaware that her voice has been reaching out to other people.
