The Royal Tutor’s seiyuu are jumping from the anime version and into live-action, as they will also star in its stage play adaptation. Previously, the cast teased fans with a video for recreating the anime’s ED sequence in costume. Now, they’ve finally released the longer version, which features the tutor and the four princes.

Together, the five seiyuu performed the anime’s ED song, “Prince Night ~Doko ni Ita no Sa!? MY PRINCESS~.” It recreates the ED sequence from the anime’s 7th episode. The anime/musical’s cast includes:

  • Keisuke Ueda as Heine Wittgenstein
  • Yuuya Asato as Kai von Grannzreich
  • Yuuto Adachi as Bruno von Grannzreich
  • Daisuke Hirose as Leonhardt von Grannzreich
  • Shouta Aoi as as Richt von Grannzreich

Shouta Aoi is certainly no stranger to stage plays, as he previously starred in the Phantasy Star Online 2 stage play. He also starred in the game’s anime adaptation as main character Itsuki Tachibana.

Tokyo’s Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi will be holding the musical from 7th to 10th September. It will then head to Osaka’s Morinomiya Piloti Hall from 16th to 18th September.

Both the anime and stage play are based on Higasa Akai’s manga of the same name. It follows the titular Royal Tutor, Heine Wittgenstein, as he tries to educate the country’s four Princes.
