The authors from Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa’s Bungou Stray Dogs manga are getting their own anime film! Now, the anime adaptation’s official website has updated, and revealed a few important details. This includes its official title, which is Bungou Stray Dogs: DEAD APPLE. They also revealed a brand new teaser trailer, as well as a new visual:
The website also revealed that the film will be making its premiere sometime in early spring 2018. They also confirmed that some of the cast members will be returning to reprise their roles. These include:
- Yuuto Uemura as Atsushi Nakajima
- Mamoru Miyano as Osamu Dazai
- Kensho Ono as Ryuunosuke Akutagawa
- Kishou Taniyama as Chuuya Nakahara
BONES will once again be animating Bungou Stray Dogs, with Takuya Igurashi also returning to direct. Most of the TV anime’s original staff are also returning for the film.
The website also has a tagline for the movie, which translates “Wounds that won’t go away, those are powers”.
