Kanae Ito is one of the most popular seiyuu in Japan right now, and she’s heading to Thailand for C3 Anime Festival Asia Bangkok 2017! She recently starred as Yui in SWORD ART ONLINE THE MOVIE -Ordinal Scale-, and she’ll also be part of the stage presentation for the anime! And we’re sure she’s more than excited to meet her Thai fans as she arrives in Bangkok for the event.

Born 26th November 1986, this lovable seiyuu and singer hails from Nagano Prefecture. As a seiyuu, she’s voiced a variety of popular roles, most notably as “MEAT” herself, Sena Kashiwazaki from Haganai. She’s also voiced Ruiko Saten from the A Certain series, as well as Nana Deviluke in the To Love Ru franchise. Her other popular roles also include Elsie from The World God Only Knows, as well as Airi from Queen’s Blade.

And she’s also quite active in voicing video game roles as well. She’s been voicing Ai Ebihara in Persona 4, and she’s also voiced Wang Yuanji in the Dynasty Warriors franchise. She also reprises her various anime roles in their respective video games too.

But for C3 AFA Bangkok 2017, it’s her character as Yui from Sword Art Online that’s going to take center stage. She’ll be appearing alongside producer Shinichiro Kashiwada for the Ordinal Scale stage event. It will happen this Saturday, 10th June, at 4:30 pm. And much like some of the other guests, you can also ask her a question! You can send your questions here, just make sure to specify who you’re sending it for:  Fan Questions

In Sword Art Online, she voices Yui, Asuna and Kirito’s adoptive “daughter”. You can catch Kanae Ito, along with the other guests, during C3 AFA Bangkok 2017. The event will happen at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok, Thailand from 10th -11th June.
