The titans are coming to Bangkok! Or at least just a stage presentation for Attack on Titan, which also features the one and only Yui Ishikawa! The voice behind Mikasa Ackerman will be one of the special guests coming to Thailand for C3 Anime Festival Asia Bangkok.

She will be making her appearance during C3 AFA Bangkok this Sunday, 11th June, during the Attack on Titan Season 2 stage presentation. It will happen around 3:30 pm on that very day, so make sure you don’t miss her! And if you want to ask her a question, you can also submit a question here: Yui Ishikawa Question

Born on 30th May 1980, the beautiful seiyuu is not only talented in voice acting but also singing and dancing. In fact, she has trained in Jazz Dance, as well as classical ballet. She’s starred in various anime like Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor as Tanya Akurou and Heroic Age as Dhianeila Y Leisha Altoria Ol Yunos. But it wasn’t until she voiced Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan that she gained worldwide fame. She even cosplayed the character that many consider is her best and most famous roles a few times.

She would then move on to other high profile projects such as Qualidea Code’s Canaria Utara, and of course, Gundam Build Fighter’s China Kousaka. Her other roles also include Seraph of the End’s Shigure Yukimi and Pokemon Origins’ Reina. Ishikawa also appeared in the Kyoto Animation hit, A Silent Voice, as Miyoko Sahara. She currently voices Mikasa again for Attack on Titan Season 2.

Like many seiyuu, she also voiced a few video game characters as well. Perhaps her most famous gaming role so far is Nier: Automata’s YoRHa No. 2 Model B, or 2B for short. Her other video game roles include the Sword Art Online RPG series’ Philia and Fire Emblem Fates’ Rinkah. And yes, she does reprise her roles as Mikasa Ackerman in the games as well.

The event will happen at the Royal Paragon Hall, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, Bangkok, Thailand from 10th -11th June. You can now book your tickets here: TICKETMELON
