The Doraemon anime staff has now revealed the 38th film for the franchise, and it looks like its the pirate life for Nobita and friends. This is because the movie’s title is Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima or Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island. They also revealed a new teaser visual for this very film.

As the title and visual suggests, Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic pirate novel, Treasure Island, inspired this film. Doreamon anime episode director, Kazuaki Imai, will be getting his anime movie directorial debut for the movie. He will also be working with your name producer, Genki Kawamura, who will be writing the script.

The staff also revealed that the film will make its premiere sometime in March 2018. This will be the 38th film in that franchise, after Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi.
