After Microsoft took the E3 stage yesterday, it was Sony’s turn to step up to the plate, and boy did they knock it out of the park announcing the games that would be released in the coming year.

Here are some of the highlights of the press event that went down at 9am SGT.

Uncharted: Lost Legacy

Staring Claudia Black, Uncharted: Lost Legacy is scheduled to hit store shelves 22 August 2017.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds

Having announced an expansion DLC for the game earlier this year, we got a first glimpse of said expansion at E3. Like many who got their hands on the original game, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to experience Aloy’s latest adventures.

Days Gone

We got a longer look at the post-apocalyptic zombie survival game announced at last year’s E3. The current trailer showed off mechanics like manipulating zombie hordes, and stealth.

Monster Hunter World

Having taken years away from Sony’s consoles, Monster Hunter is back! Capcom’s larger than life hunting game will be making it’s return to the Playstation in Early 2018. It will also be released for XBox One in Early 2018, and PC at a later date.

Shadow Of The Colossus Remake

Cult classic, Shadow of the Colossus will be remade for the Playstation, with enhanced graphics and technology.

Call of Duty: WWII

Announced at a Call of Duty event earlier this year, CoD:WWII will be available November 3rd.

Playstation VR

Not to forget Playstation’s proprietary Virtual Reality system, Sony showed off a collection of games coming to the PSVR, these included: Star Child,

military shooter Bravo Team,

psychological thriller The Inpatient,

Final Fantasy XV: Monster Of The Deep a Final Fantasy Fishing game,

and Skyrim.

God Of War

Yet another game announced at last year’s E3 got a longer look. This time it was God of War, the showcase gave players a larger sense of how the game would play out. God of War will be available in Early 2018.

Detroit: Become Human

Players step into the shoes of the leader of an android uprising in this choose your adventure cinematic experience. Developed by the folk at Quantic Studios who brought us gems such as Heavy Rain, I am certainly looking forward to this one.

Spiderman

Finally, Sony showed off Insomniac Game’s Spiderman, strongly influenced by the Arkham series, the game looks impressive and seems like a throw back to the original Spiderman game that was on the first Playstation. Spiderman will be out Early 2018.

Things of Note:

Some of the other announcements made at E3 were co-op thriller mobile game, Hidden Agenda from the creators of Until Dawn, Undertale coming to the PS4 and Vita, and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite coming September 19th, with the Demo for the game dropping today.
