The Osamu Tezuka Museum doesn’t just celebrate the works of the legendary mangaka, but also Japanese pop culture in general. Now, the museum is celebrating not only the 10th birthday of Hatsune Miku, but also the85th birthday of the late Japanese electronic music pioneer, Isao Tomita. They are calling the exhibition “Hatsune Miku x Osamu Tezuka Exhibition ~ The World Connected by Isao Tomita”.

In his long career, the late Isao Tomita collaborated with Hatsune Miku, as well as the legendary Osamu Tezuka. On the other hand, Miku herself got the Tezuka treatment, as seen in the artwork above. The image served as the visual for an orchestral concert, which also paid tribute to the late Tomita. The exhibition will feature new artworks, as well as new 3DCG models of Miku.

Found in Takarazuka City, Hyougo Prefecture, the Osamu Tezuka Museum will kick the exhibition off on 1st July. It will then hold it until 23rd October, at the museum’s 2nd Floor Exhibition Planning Room. Adult tickets cost 700 yen, while tickets for children cost 100 yen.
