As part of its 25th Anniversary, Sailor Moon is announcing another collaboration project: this time with German luxury plush toy maker Steiff, to release a special Steiff x Sailor Moon Teddy Bear. Steiff is a renowned toy company whose origins date back to 1880, when seamstress Margarete Steiff began making soft toys.
Since Sailor Moon as first released in 1992, only 1,992 of these exclusive hand-made teddy bears will be offered for sale! All Steiff Sailor Moon bears will be individually tagged with a serial number in the ear. Each bear will set you back the kingly sum of JPY 43,200, and is only available via the Premium Bandai webstore.
