NexGen Singapore, hosted by Active Learning Co., Ltd., is a start-up event that brings together Singaporean government agencies, start-ups, and the general public. Harvard students and venue participants will present unique material that will contribute to a transformed next generation.

To celebrate the inaugural NexGen Singapore event, Beverly will be performing at the afterparty!

Beverly, who belongs to AVEX, rose to fame after being invited to perform the theme song for the Kantere Fuji TV’s drama series “CRISIS Public Security Investigation Corps Special Investigation Group.”

About Beverly

Beverly’s famously high-pitched tone brings vocalism into a whole new level.

After rigorous training with famous Filipino composer, Vehnee Saturno, she was introduced to Japan in 2015. Now, she’s recognized not just in the Philippines, but has also been awarded several times in music festivals throughout America and Qatar.

At the A-Nation held in August, she was appointed as a starring act. She received huge applause from the audience, which is incredibly rare for newcomers. In addition, she’s also sung in 3 songs from the Disney Magical Pop Christmas Album.

Her debut album “Awesome” was released on May 31st, 2017.

After famous Japanese actor Shun Oguri attended one of Beverly’s live performances, he became transfixed by her talent, and introduced her to a well-known TV drama producer. This led to the release of “I Need Your Love” and “Empty,” recorded for her album “Awesome,” as the opening theme and featured song, respectively, for Kantere Fuji TV’s drama series ”CRISIS kouan-kidou-sousatai-tokusouhan.”

Nexgen started in 2014. Following NexGen Tokyo July 14th, the Singapore event will be held on August 4th.

In cooperation with our supporters SGinnovate and Ascendas, many Singapore startups, and government related organizations will participate in NexGen Singapore.

The major difference from regular events is overwhelming participation from the audience!

Participants are not passive or just listening to the story, but they propose to the company’s challenges.

From NexGen Tokyo, we invited our “best contributor”. The one who gives the most excellent contribution proposal at the Singaporean event on August 4, will be to invited to Japan (traveling expenses provided)!
