Featuring a huge sales and exhibition hall, a stellar collection of cosplay guests, and an unbeatable line-up of artistes for the 2017 edition of the I Love Anisong concert — we can’t wait to go check it out!
Over the next couple of days, we’ll be featuring all the talented artistes that make up the I Love Anisong line-up. Let’s get this party started with the stellar rock group Kishidakyodan and The Akebosirockets!
Kishidakyodan and The Akebosirockets started out a solo project by musician Kishida Kyodan, who did covers for the game Touhou Project in 2004. Over the next three years, additional members joined the band, such as ichigo (vocals), Hayapi~ (guitar), and Micchan (drums).
They made their major debut in 2010 with the release of the single “Highschool of the Dead”. Their success spurred on additional collaborations with anime such as “GATE”, “GATE II”, “Tenkyou no Alderamin” and “Strike the Blood”.
Best known for their unique combination of hard rock and powerful female vocals, the band has racked up a huge number of fans. Their popularity has led them to perform in massive venues such as ANIMAX MUSIX 2016 YOKOHAMA and Lis Ani! LIVE 2017.
