Girls und Panzer is getting itself a six-part film project, and its official website has revealed a brand new trailer. This new trailer’s first part features the first film in the six-part anime project. As expected, the video features the girls from Oarai, as well as the ones from their rival tank schools.
As mentioned in the trailer, the first film will premiere in Japan this 9th December. Meanwhile, the second part of the trailer reveals that Girls und Panzer will get its own PlayStation 4 game, which is officially titled Girls und Panzer Dream Tank Match, Bandai Namco Games is developing this new tank battle game. It will allow players to participate in online match battles in their own tanks. Bandai Namco will release the game sometime in Winter 2017. Here’s another trailer for the game:
Aside from the first part’s trailer and PS4 game announcement, Bandai Visual also revealed a brand new teaser video. It features the new anime project’s theme song, “Long and Shining Road”, by the Anglerfish Team.
The film project will boast immersive 4DX and MX4D screenings, but only after the second film premieres. These immersive screenings will combine two episodes from the 6-part project. This means that the first immersive screening will have the first two films, the second one will contain parts 3 and 4, and so on. The film project will also serve as Girls und Panzer’s “Finale”.
