Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail manga may now be over, but it looks like the Fairy Tail TV anime will be continuing into its final season. This is all according to Fairy Tail creator, Hiro Mashima himself. In his tweet, Mashima said in English that this final season will be coming sometime in 2018.

Fairy Tail has plenty of anime fans abroad, and it seems that Mashima is well aware of this. This may be why he made the announcement in English. He also previously announced the previous anime seasons for Fairy Tail in English.

On the other hand, the mangaka didn’t reveal much details on this final season. Looks like we would have to wait for more announcements in the days ahead.
