After a decade of getting teased to have a live-action film (and also a Hollywood one), Bleach finally has one. And now, the live-action film’s official website finally reveals its own teaser visual. This one features actor Souta Fukushi as the manga’s main protagonist, Ichigo Kuriosaki.

The text on the visual reads, “Shinigami, Meeting.” In addition, the twitter page also revealed that the film will premiere sometime in summer 2018. As we’re currently in summer 2017, we may have to wait a year or more to see this one.

Shinsuke Sato, who will be directing the film, is certainly no stranger to manga with connections to the afterlife. This is because he previously directed the two live-action Gantz films. The staff will be making more announcements during the Tanabata festival, which has some strong connections with Bleach because of Orihime and Hikoboshi.

So, what do you guys think of the new visual so far? Will the film be loyal to Tite Kubo’s manga? Will it hit Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, or Indonesia? Looks like we’ll find out soon enough.
