Legendary seiyuu, Masako Nozawa is now 80 years-old, but she’s still going strong! In fact, she’s still actively lending her voice to Goku, Gohan, and Gotan in Dragon Ball Super! Now, Dragon Ball Super is reaching its milestone 100th episode. This means that Nozawa has voiced Goku for a total 770 episodes! Yes folks, that still doesn’t count the films and the games.

Nozawa recently commented on the anime’s official website regarding this very 100th episode. In that statement, she says:

“100 episodes passed by so fast! I was so surprised to hear that! If things go like this, then the 200th episode will also come so quickly!! These days, I’m very happy that I have receive plenty of messages from fans almost each day. Even when I walk outside, people tell me, ‘I watch it every week,’ or ‘It’s exciting.’ Based on the number of the Dragon Balls, Dragon Ball Super is aiming to reach its 700th episode. Fans of the series, I look forwarding to your ongoing support.”

That’s from the legend herself! The anime’s official website also posted the trailer for its 100th episode, and they promise it’s gonna be big. As expected of Dragon Ball!
